How do I begin the process of joining MyNP?
Often, switching providers or initiating a regularly scheduled healthcare exam requires gathering a past medical history from multiple sources, while still trying to determine if the medical practice is right for both parties. We offer, and strongly encourage, a 30-45 minute “Meet and Greet” appointment in your home, free of any charge or commitment from you.

How much is my annual membership fee?
Current membership rates are $1,800 annually per person. At any time during the year, you may request a pro-rated refund if you feel this practice model is no longer for you.

How often will my nurse practitioner visit me?
We recommend quarterly "wellness visits" to maintain optimal health of our patients. Of course, we will round more frequently as medically necessary. We will schedule your first visit at your convenience within one week of enrollment. This visit is typically 90-120 minutes.

What is the cost for each visit?
MyNP bills Medicare and insurance companies for services, just like any other clinic-based medical practice. We bill Medicare and private insurance and accept copays until deductibles are satisfied. Copays are required of you. There is no additional hidden travel or after hours/holiday or emergency fees for delivering care in your home.

What if I need Lab Work, X-rays or an Ultrasound?
MyNP will arrange for mobile services to provide care in your home. Services provided by these companies include blood work, ultrasounds, x-rays and EKGs. When we are notified of your lab results, we will communicate the results that day. We will occasionally use Apex Laboratories, as appropriate. Most often, these mobile services bill Medicare without additional service fees. However, this is ultimately at the discretion of the mobile company that is being used.

What insurance does MyNP accept?
We currently accept tradition Medicare, private PPOs with out of network benefits and supplemental. We are unable to accept HMO plans at this time.
